Solid bronze sculpture by Keith Sherwin of a hummingbird taking nectar from a flower. Native to the Americas and one of the world's smallest birds, the hummingbird is famous for its ability to hover whilst flapping its wings at extraordinary speeds - for some species up to 80 times a second. They can also move very quickly - some species can dive at up to 50 mph.
Keith Sherwin's exquisite sculpture comes with a traditionally styled, wooden display box. Colour highlights have been added by hand to further enhance the overall effect. This beautifully crafted bronze, limited edition sculpture would make a memorable gift for a bird lover.
Supplied in a gift box with a soft cleaning cloth and a Certificate of Authenticity that includes the edition number and a short biography of the artist. The edition number is also engraved on the base of the sculpture.
