A superb chameleon sculpture by Matt Buckley from the EDGE contemporary sculpture collection. This extraordinary ancient lizard is found in the warm regions of the Old World - primarily Madagascar and Africa. Highly adapted for climbing and hunting the chameleon has remarkable eyes that can turn independently, however they are mainly famous for their ability to change their skin colour to blend in with their surroundings. Matt Buckley's sculpture shows one of these magnificent creatures perched on a tree branch in a classic crouched pose - a small Edge caterpillar being the final touch.
The EDGE Chameleon is also available in blue: EDGE Chameleon Green ED42G, orange: EDGE Chameleon Orange ED42OR, rainbow pink EDGE Chameleon Rainbow Pink ED42RP and rainbow blue: EDGE Chameleon Rainbow Blue ED42RB.
Magnificent on its own the EDGE Chameleon looks even more impressive when displayed with the EDGE African Tree Frog as in the example below - many different colour combinations are possible.
