A hugely appealing baby orangutan by Matt Buckley - part of the EDGE collection of contemporary sculpture. Known as the 'gardeners of the forest' Orangutans are the world's largest tree climbing animals - their ape-like shape and shaggy fur makes them instantly recognisable. Orangutans live in the forests of Indonesia and Malaysia, however they are under threat due to the deforestation of these areas - the WWF is trying to counter this with a number of conservation programmes. A beautiful culture by Matt Buckley that perfectly captures the playful character of this iconic creature.
