A hugely appealing baby orangutan by Matt Buckley - part of the EDGE collection of contemporary sculpture. Known as the 'gardeners of the forest' Orangutans are the world's largest tree climbing animals - their ape-like shape and shaggy reddish fur makes them instantly recognisable. Orangutans live in the forests of Indonesia and Malaysia, however they are under threat due to the deforestation of these areas - the WWF is trying to counter this with a number of conservation programmes.
This delightful baby orangutan would be the ideal accompaniment to our adult orangutan - ORANGUTAN ED22 and our other baby orangutan - BABY OH! EDJC01. Displayed together they would make a spectacular talking point for any room.
