Irresistible baby orangutan sculpture by Matt Buckley. Known as the 'gardeners of the forest' Orangutans are the world's largest tree climbing animals - their ape-like shape and shaggy reddish fur makes them instantly recognisable. Orangutans live in the forests of Indonesia and Malaysia, however they are under threat due to the deforestation of these areas.
This sculpture has been released in order to raise money for the Jim Cronin Memorial Fund - a registered charity that provides much needed protection and support for Orangutans and other great apes.
This is an ascending numbered edition and each is personally signed by the sculptor Matt Buckley. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity.
Release scheduled for mid October - initial supplies will be limited and demand is likely to be high so please pre-order now if you will need this before Christmas.
This delightful baby orangutan would be the ideal accompaniment to our adult orangutan - ORANGUTAN ED22 and our other baby orangutan - BABY ORANGUTAN ED28. Displayed together they would make a spectacular talking point for any room.
