The two embracing figures emerge almost organically from a rough-hewn base as if they are growing out of the earth and reaching onwards and upwards while still inextricably linked. The classic juxtaposition of smooth and textured surfaces amongst Jennine's beautifully rendered forms gives this distinctive piece an extra layer of sensory aesthetics, as it is as stimulating to the touch as to the sight.
