"I currently live and work in West Herefordshire in the shadow of the Black Mountains. The rural life has always been of paramount importance both for myself and my family, for we all enjoy what the outdoor life has to offer, but more importantly, I need the inspiration from the variety of wildlife, flora and fauna that is on my doorstep to create my sculptures. Life began for me on a farm in Kent 50 years ago, my family then moved to Mid-Wales where I spent all my formative years.

Having gained a qualification in Industrial Ceramics from Hereford College of Art, I started a career in the china trade producing bone china figurines. It was at this time I began sculpting wildlife subjects and here my passion for depicting animals and birds began. Over the years, as a self-employed sculptor, I have worked for many famous names in the giftware industry, and have been lucky enough to sell pieces all over the world. Some of the companies depicting my work include: Boehm of Malvern, Hereford Fine China, Heredities, Wildtrack, Country Artists, Franklin Mint, Birmingham Mint and Border Fine Arts.

 To sculpt in bronze has always been my ambition: simply to capture the beauty and essence of the subject."
